Of interest for Sentinel users this past week Microsoft Announced: To ensure all customers can migrate to the Defender portal without disruption, we’re extending support for Microsoft Sentinel in the Azure portal to 31 March 2027. If you’re managing Microsoft Sentinel resources in the Azure portal, migrate your environments to the Defender portal before 31 March 2027.

Originally slated for July 2026, this new deadline reflects the deep integration required within Security environments and products that make migrations complex. This extension announcement is good news for organizations that have extensive infrastructure and configurations in place in Azure Sentinel!
